We are excited to welcome Millar College of the Bible. Faculty from their Winnipeg Campus will lead us on a journey through Scripture, revealing how the Gospel is the common thread throughout the Bible. Join us for the life transforming message of God’s redemption, and fellowship, with teens from across Manitoba.
From Creation – Cross – Return – Christ in all!
Redemption: The mystery of the Gospel revealed in the unifying thread of God’s saving action. Beginning in the Garden, then weaving its way through various Old Testament characters… reaching fulfillment in the new covenant ratified through the blood of Jesus Christ, our Mediator – Standing in the Gap!

10:30-11:30 AM FRIDAY: The Gospel according to Noah – Dustin Burlet
How might the age of rocks help us to understand the Rock of Ages? How do the beaker and the Bible intersect? Within this presentation, we will be learning about God's glory in both judgment and salvation and the importance of a biblical understanding of creation.
Dustin, his wife Rebecca and their three children live here in Winnipeg. Dustin is an instructor at Millar College’s Winnipeg Campus, where he shares his passion for the Word of God. Growing up in Alberta, near the badlands Dustin’s passion for fossils has led him on a path of
uncovering truths around the flood. You can find some of Dustin’s studies and passions surfacing through various interviews and videos around creation and the flood online.
1:00-2:00 PM FRIDAY: The Gospel according to Abraham – Matt Woodmass
Abraham is one of the most ancient celebrities. Songs and children’s books retell his story to this day, yet Abraham teaches us more gospel truth than meets the eye. Find out what life-changing truths you might have missed in this classic story.
Matt is a full-time instructor at Millar’s Winnipeg Campus, where he enjoys sharing his passion
for God’s Word and its original languages with his students. Matt, and his wife, Judith, live
outside of Winnipeg, off the grid, where they homeschool their four daughters.
2:30-3:30 PM FRIDAY: The Gospel according to Moses – Matt Woodmass
Jesus said, “If you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me. But if you do not believe his writings, how will you believe my words?” (Jn 5:46-47 ESV). Join us as we explore what Moses has to say about Christ.

4:00-5:00 PM FRIDAY: The Gospel according to David – Nick Betzing
A shepherd emerges from Judah. Who is this humble king and how does he prefigure and tell of the Messiah to come? God exalts the humble and opposes the proud. Come behold the mystery of mercy triumphing over judgment through the lens of the monarch.
The providence of God led Nick to Millar's Pambrun campus where he completed his degree and met his beloved bride, Nicole. Since then, he has been working in the landscape business, continuing his studies at Millar's Master’s Program, and pastoring alongside the other elders of Grace Life Church Beausejour. Nick is excited to see the campus emerge in the city he calls
home and counts it a great privilege to teach God's Word wherever he has the opportunity.
9:00-10:00 AM SATURDAY: The Gospel according to Jesus – Nick Betzing
What does Jesus say that I must do to follow Him? What is the cost of following Him? What is the cost of not following Him? We invite you to embrace these vital questions with us in this session.

As a result of this extraordinary experience, Paul devoted his life to training others to grow in their own understanding of the good news of Jesus. Come learn what it means to begin to teach others about the changing work of Christ.

1:00-2:00 PM SATURDAY: Gospel Fluency – Jordan Watts
Is belief in the gospel a one-time decision? I made that decision; why do I still face doubts and temptation? Let’s talk about how the truth of the gospel, as a follower of Jesus, shapes how we continue to grow in Christ and become more like him.
Jordan and Kiara joined out Millar College Winnipeg campus in the summer of 2020. He serves as our Dean of Men and his passion for Jesus is evident as he seeks to help others grow in their walk with the Lord. Jordan has a growing passion for meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of people in his local neighbourhood, in the Point Douglas area of Winnipeg.
2:30-3:30 PM SATURDAY: Remembering the Gospel through Song – Nate Woyke and Peter Buhler
Music and singing are a great way to reflect and remember the gospel truths of scripture. Psalm 96:1-3 Oh sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth! Sing to the Lord, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
Nate and Kristen joined our Winnipeg campus team in the summer of 2021. Nate has a passion for Missions and living life with keeping the eternal realities at the fore. He currently leads our Worship Arts as well as our Urban Edge courses here in Winnipeg. Nathan, Kristen, and their new addition Renae enjoy God’s creative work through exploring the outdoors and interacting with people of other cultures.
Out of the invitation of numerous pastors and ministry leaders for Millar College to open an extension campus in Winnipeg, Millar College made the decision to pursue that invitation. In the fall of 2019 Peter, Andrea and their two children made the move to Winnipeg with the intention of opening a Millar College campus. Peter serves as the Winnipeg campus director after serving for 15 years on the Pambrun campus. Peter enjoys God’s creativity, whether that be nature and outdoors or a pleasant cup of coffee.
